2nd High School in New Jersey with MRSA

October 16th, 2006 · 3 Comments

Haddonfield Memorial High School is the second school in South New Jersey to do battle with MRSA in their athetic facilities recently, with a reported 8 players infected as of late last week.

Haddonfield MHS has presented this MRSA factsheet on their website to help parents and members of the community with some basic information about MRSA.

From a sophomore at the high school, Megan Geiger: “Down in the athletic trainer’s office everyone’s really, really nervous about getting sick or getting the infection.”

Get well soon, and keep washing those hands. Obsessive compulsive disorder is a good thing in this situation!

I think it is the coaches responsibility because they should be washing the balls and taking more of a percation with this kind of situation.
