Atlanta’s professional basketball and hockey teams, the Hawks and the Thrashers have taken a proactive stance towards protecting their players from Staph, MRSA and other bacterial infections with the use of the SportsAide antimicrobial system that we have heard about here several times in the past.
Staph infections are a very serious concern for all athletic organizations from the amateurs to the pros causing missed games, hospitalizations and even fatalities in even the strongest of athletes,” said Billy Knight, Executive Vice President/GM of the Atlanta Hawks
“We aren’t taking any chances with the health and safety of our players, adopting the best technologies and prevention strategies available to our organization to protect our teams,” said Don Waddell, Executive Vice President/GM of the Atlanta Thrashers.
The Hawks and the Threshers join several other professional teams in adopting this product - I am always glad to hear teams taking the initiative to help their players stay safe!
