MRSA Notes

Like many other athletic groups across the country, the Boston Celtics have had their own battle with MRSA. Paul Pierce and Delonte West have both had recent infections and yesterday the Celtics announced “the organization has sustained a small bacterial infection issue.” They go on to say that they are “aggressively undertaking steps to test each of our basketball staff members and players” and “are professionally cleaning our facilities in Waltham and at the TD Banknorth Garden.” The training facility was completely sanitized last weekend as well.
