Teen Has Breast Removed after Infection in Piercing

An 18 yr old Indiana teenager has suffered a life threatening necrotizing fasciitis infection, resulting in the removal of one of her breasts, after a nipple piercing. It should be noted that the teenager was also diabetic.

Lake County, Indiana Jail in Quarantine

Late last week, Indiana’s Lake County Jail went into quarantine due to an outbreak of MRSA skin infections among its prisoners:
