MRSA Notes

We had another successful Thursday night chat. I hope you will join us next week. This isn’t a formal chat, it is just people getting together to talk about whatever is on their minds. For most of us, it is MRSA. We have a great time cutting up too–it is not all serious! I have met several wonderful people in there, and I treasure it, I really do. I hope some of you will take the opportunity to socialize with us next week! 9pm! Be there!!

I have posted another story on MRSA Resources. You can find it here. This is Peg’s story. She contracted MRSA through an ankle shaving cut. How many times have we all done that? Her doctor told her to use disposable razors forever. That is really something to think about. Anyway, read her story when you get a minute, every story I hear/read is fascinating, and frighteningly similar.

During the chat, I received a phone call from a woman in Dallas who had read Marshall’s story with her husband yesterday, and as soon as he finished it, he was ready to go to the ER. Part of his inspiration was that Marshall sounded so much like him-strong, healthy, invincible-TEXAN. This is why I am here, and why God allowed us to survive this horrid infection, I am positive of that. Please, if you have any inkling that something is wrong with you, I don’t care how big and strong and tough you are, get yourself to the doctor. MRSA is nothing to play around with.
