We have heard lots about the antimicrobial properties of silver this past year, how it is being used on artificial body parts, and in pajamas to help kill MRSA, and now copper has the eye of the researchers. It is being trialed in a hospital in the UK, on door handles, faucets and fixtures in the hopes that it will be effective in germ killing. Copper is more economical than silver, and it is hoped that it will have the same antimicrobial properties.
MRSA is believed to be acquired by touching surfaces unbeknownst to be colonized with MRSA. The copper could also be effective on many other germs spread in this way, and in addition to fixtures, can be woven into clothing and other fabrics.

We have a machine that purifies the air to the point that the treated air kills various bacteria. According to recent university testing, 99.99% kill rate was acheived after 6 hours. It is easy to retrofit on current HVAC systems.
