MRSA Notes

In a study released in December, but being widely discussed this week, researchers from the University of Arizona swabbed the offices and personal items of 59 women and 54 men in several large cities for various germs, including MRSA.

The top 3 germiest places in the office for women were:

1. Makeup cases
2. Phones
3. Purses

And for men:

1. Wallets (the number one germiest spot overall)
2. PDA’s
3. Phones

We have talked about all of these in the past, in one form or another, so do take the time to clean these things periodically. FYI - MRSA was not found very often, but was found more often in women’s workspaces then those of the men.
