selection du patissierI am a sucky blogger, I know. I hate it when I get lazy (or in this case overwhelmed) and wind up missing important information! But, just in case it still may help someone, here is some information about a recall of frozen desserts that were contaminated with Staphlococcus bacteria, from late last week:

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency was expanding on an allergy alert issued on Feb. 20 for Sélection du Pâtissier brand Cranberry Crème Brûlée.

The manufacturer, Sélection du Pâtissier, is recalling the products which were distributed to Pacini restaurants in Quebec. […]

The recall involves shipments of frozen Moccacino terrine ATFF, sold in a 9.20-kg case that contains 2 x 48 pre-cut servings bearing item number 00308 and UPC 1 06 22267 00308 1.

Sélection du Pâtissier is also pulling its Frozen Autentico Tiramitsu Pacini, sold in a 1.33-kg case, marked with the item number 00094 and UPC 6 22267 00094 6.

Individual cakes, sold as a 4.6-kg package bearing item number 00308 and UPC 6 22267 00308 4, are also included in the recall alert.

The original recall involved shipments of 2 x 42 pre-marked serving slabs that bear the item number 00208 and UPC 1 06 22267 00208 4. The individual slab is identified as a 3.7-kg package bearing item number 00208 and UPC 6 22267 00208 7. [source ]
