Teens Get Drug-Resistant Infections After Getting Tattoos
PASADENA, Md. — Anne Arundel County health officials said four teenagers contracted a drug-resistant skin infection after they got tattoos from a tattoo artist working out of a home basement in Pasadena.
The infection is known as MRSA and is resistant to most antibiotics. Two of the teens had to be hospitalized.
It’s not clear if the tattoo artist will face any legal sanctions.
