My friends Francine Jackson and Theresa Drew have been working so very hard this year on awareness of MRSA in athletics and are now promoting their First Annual Ricky’s MRSA Awareness Walk and Benefit:
July 2, 2006 from 2-4 pm
Keenan’s Irish Pub
New Jersey and Spruce Streets
North Wildwood, NJThe cost is $15 for the walk only, $25 for the benefit only, and $35 for both.
Register at 1:30 the day of the walk at Keenan’s, and the benefit immediately following includes beer, wine, soda, food, DJ and auction.

The proceeds of this event will go to help cover their costs for educational mailings for schools, rec leagues, as well as literature printing costs. This group is working so hard and is reaching so many people on a grassroots level. You can be very sure that your donations and help are going to a very good cause.

Buy MRSA Awareness items here. Educate your friends and family about the incidence of MRSA everywhere. Someday everyone will know someone or love someone that is affected.
