MRSA Can’t Be Called an Outbreak Because…

…it isn’t a reportable disease. What? That is really eye-opening to me, and makes no sense. This interview with a PA woman who is fighting MRSA, starts out with this statement. I guess I didn’t realize that there was a rule like that attached to the word outbreak. I think that you can probably look here, at MRSA Notes, in the Pennsylvania category and see that there is something going on in PA, if not an outbreak, then what? Just a terribly unsanitary state?
