I have been talking a little bit to a woman who has her own thoughts about what helped her rid herself of her MRSA infection. Before you write her thoughts off, you might consider them. What she is saying worked for her is not dangerous, so is worth a try in my book. So, here is her story:
I contracted MRSA from sinus surgery 3 years ago.
But I will tell you that the key for me has been to have absolutely no dairy products. I have had an abcess in my left sinus cavity, with a foul stench for 3 years. I have been on so many antibiotics, to no avail. But when I took Cipro and no dairy, it has worked for me. The tests prove it.
An interesting note is that I am not allergic to milk. Also I Put Bactroban into my sinus cavity with a q tip and cheated with a piece of cheese. My mouth started to foam. and my nose started to stink.
I do believe that antibiotics combined at any time with dairy, and dairy, period have been the key to me having mrsa so long. I ve had to stay off dairy for the abscess not to return, one woman on the website said she was not willing to give up her ice cream.
One of the things that was the most difficult and time consuming to do while my husband was recovering from his illness, was to keep up on top of all of the drugs he was taking and be sure we weren’t doing things that negatively affected the way they worked. There is a huge number of foods and drinks that will affect the ability of a drug to do its job, so be aware, and research drug interactions every time you take a new drug. Print the information out, post it on your refrigerator, or somewhere that you will remember to look. It could save your life.
