This is a super cool new product I found via the Washington Post this morning: The Handler. This is a key fob with a little pop out thingy that will open doors, close doors, push buttons, turn on and off faucets, flush toilets, and basically touch anything for you that you don’t want to touch.

I really try not to be too big of a germophobe, but public restrooms REALLY gross me out - the part after I have washed my hands and before I get out the door - turning off the faucet, the towel handle, opening the door. Yuck. This will be awesome for that.
You might wonder - what about the nasty germs that are all over The Handler itself? The plastic and metal that it is made from is treated with silver, which, if you have kept up with the MRSA news, you know is very effective at germ killing:
The handler’s plastic and rubber components are combined with Silver Nano Particles during the manufacturing process. Tests show that these silver particles are highly effective in killing microorganisms ranging from harmful strains of e. coli that cause food-borne diseases to the staphylococcus bacteria responsible for serious infections. Labratory tests show that the handler kills 98% of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus on contact and 99% after two minutes.
Sounds great, eh? I am ordering one right away (well, 3 or 4 maybe - sounds like a GREAT stocking stuffer to me) from their website. They are $10.95 each, they come in quite a few different colors - and look, they even come in PINK (my favorite)!

Those pictures are unbelievable. I was shocked to learn the truth about this condition. I suppose it resembles leprosy in the indigents who have no access to medicine or doctor care.
I only suffered one little carbuncle that was painful enough. Wow!
Thanks, I think, for the heads up on mrsa, Christina. your web-sites are immaculate, by the way. Your writing is excellent, and what I like most: there is no misspelled words, and you have taken care to make the messages flow.
